From the upcoming film “And She Was…” to the
A&E/ FOX television movie “They All Wore Blue” to A&E
Biographies on stars like John Travolta, Bruce Willis and Steve Martin
to hard-hitting documentaries like The Crash of Flight 191 for The
History Channel, Traveling Light Media continues to produce
award-winning programming in a variety of genres across different
platforms.
Adam Friedman, an award-winning filmmaker, documentarian, music video
director, and reality TV show-runner, founded Traveling Light in
2002. Adam brings a long history of film and television
experience and a keen eye for innovative talent and cutting edge
technology. He was responsible for the creative use of the
Thermographic camera that made the Rolling Stones’ video “Emotional
Rescue” possible, and he literally stopped traffic in New York when he
ran a 750 horsepower Champ Car race through Time Square for Spike
TV.
Adam’s mission is simple: “Create an environment where the best
supplant the many; where money goes on the screen instead of paying an
exorbitant overhead. A lean and mean crew also gives us a quicker
response time. We travel light and that enables us to move . . .
at the speed of light.”
Never content with merely following the status quo, Traveling Light
continues to break new ground. They are currently developing the
first scripted drama series for Discovery, as well as creating a new
paradigm for feature film production utilizing the latest technology
and Traveling Light’s unique production techniques.
